Have any of you started reading this one yet? I started my copy last night and read straight through to page 100 without even looking up, I think. I have to admit, I groaned a bit when I first saw the cover. It's a cheesy one, but I was really pulled into the story within just a few pages. I'm thoroughly enjoying reading about someone that I've never read much of before. It's definitely a bit smutty in places, and I don't know how factual it's going to be. Most of the discrepancies that I've found so far are things that even the historians don't agree on so I'm going to quit playing fact checker and just enjoy this entertaining story. I only checked a few facts because I like to know how factual I can expect the book to be before I get heavily into it. All true or not, this book is definitely going to be a fun, adventurous ride!

I think I'm going to request his Aztec books too. I know someone in this forum has read and enjoyed them, but I can't remember who it was now. Whoever you are....Did you enjoy the Aztec books as much as The Journeyer?

I haven't started my copy yet, but now I am kinda regretting it! I think I am going to request Raptor by him though. It sounds good too!

So many of us requested this book that we should all have something to talk about!

I didn't know about Raptor. I need to go check it out! Since so many of us requested Journeyer, I thought it would be interesting to start a thread about it and see what we all think of it.

I was looking at his books at Amazon and it seems as if all the sequels to Aztec were written after Jennings was dead by two other writers. After reading the reviews for these sequels, I'm thinking that they aren't as good as Jennings work.

The series order is: Aztec, Aztec Autumn, Aztec Blood, Aztec Rage. I think I'm going to just stick with the one Jennings actually wrote, Aztec.

Jennifer, I just requested Raptor. The main character is a Gothic hermaphrodite. How could I resist that?! LOL

LOL, I'll send you my copy if you still need one by the time I get finished with it. I had to learn this one the hard way too. Don't mention any book until your copy is on it's way!
