Mr. Yan currently is the television host of the popular Chinese cooking show, Yan Can Cook,"which is aired in Canada and the northern United States.
In recent years, Mr. Yan's numerous appearances on radio and television talk shows, as well as his extensive travels through North America, Southeast Asia, and Mainland China displaying his culinary expertise, have made him a celebrity. With a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis and a teaching credential in Chinese cooking, he has been working with foods for a number of years.
He is a consultant and feature writer for Food World Magazine, the Foodstuff Research Centre in Hon Kong, and a professional member of the American Association of Cooking Schools.« less
