I just finished this book last night and I LOVED it. Some reviews I have read found it to be too epic in scope and wordy. I didn't have that problem with it. I loved all the characters. Does anyone know if she wrote any books that included secondary characters from this novel?

As far as I know, Judith James has only written 3 books - Broken Wing was her first, then Highland Rebel, and her newest is Libertine's Kiss. I've only read Highland Rebel so far, but I loved it, and I have the other 2 James on my TBR. Her next book will be The King's Courtesan, which I think is featuring a secondary character from Libertine's Kiss, but I'm not sure if these later ones have any ties to Broken Wing.

I really loved Broken Wing and I liked Libertine's Kiss. Sorry that doesn't answer your question!

I put a copy for keepers on my wish list of Broken Wing.  I think it is one I will reread.  And I have the other two on my TBR pile, so now I better get started.

Judith James is a new favorite of mine.  Are you aware she has a new book announced?

I uploaded the cover image this morning and hope it appears later today.  It's STUNNING--and I can't wait for everyone else to see it.

Happy Reading!

Thanks for that info, Laura.  Added it to my WL.  BTW, the cover image is not showing yet.
