In this story Julie's cousin, sister, Julie herself, and many others join a wagon train to commemorate the bicentennial of The United States of America. This book becomes part mystery which I appreciate. Like the previous books in this series my fovorite part is the historical section in the back...I think the reason this is more appealing than just simply reading a history book is because the historical fiction sparks my interest and makes the history seem closer, I mean I can somewhat relate to the young characters...therefore that makes it interesting.
