I just finished With All My Soul by Rachel Vincent..the last in the series.  Its one of my fav series so I was sad to see it end.  But I was very happy with how it all wrapped up.  Now going back to read one of the Novellas that I missed, Never to Sleep.

I just finished Legend by Marie Lu. I got desperate and bought it. It was a bit predictable at times but i loved it. I just borrowed Fragments by Dan Wells from the library on my kindle. I also borrowed Through the Ever Night. Im not sure which I want to start first.

I just started Beautiful Creatures (after watching the movie).  I have the first three books.  I also plan on starting on the Fallen series and the first Jennifer Estep book in the next few weeks.

I started on Fragments but i was so confused. I read partals this year so its not like i forgot. Yet as i read i was having difficulty remembering where we left off and who was who. I need a summery breakdown with spolers to jog my memory. So i put it down after 8 pages and started on Through the Ever Night. And just finished it. I felt like this just drug on in parts. Sometimes i skipped paragraphs that were just about walking. I felt like there was a lot of filling/padding in this book to set it up for book 3. Though i am looking forward to the last book.

I am reading  Shattered Souls :: Mary Lindsey. Good so far very fast read. Not sure where the plot is going but I am sure it will go somewhere.

finished Falling Into You last night.  I did about 1/2 on Kindle, 1/2 audio with the WhisperSync.  The writiing style was horrible.  I had such high hopes for it, but sadly, it disappointed.  The writing style was crap.  Cora Carmack was sooo much better!

Started listening to Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld this morning.  I absolutley HATED Man of My Dreams & Prep, but adored American Wife.  So figured I'd give this a listen.

I am reading  Chantress :: Amy Butler Greenfield. This book is the author's debut. Very good and imaginative so for. Nice bits of history mixed with paranormal. I put in the YA VB for next round. Beautiful cover art too. I love pretty covers!!!

So far I have read Losing it and Faking it by Cora Carmack. I loved them both and read them both quickly. They would be great for a day at the pool or beach. Then I finally read Pushing the Limits after having it on my kindle for months. What was I waiting for? It was so different from what I had expected but what an amazing book. The characters were so real and believable and it had a deep emotional plot. Great read!

I just finished Fallen Too Far series which is really new adult as there are a number of steamy scenes. Overall the first book was enjoyable but the last two were pretty bad. Felt like the author was just rambling with no plot. They were self published so I'm not surprised. The main male love interest was also too creepily possessive. I read them all because they were a series but wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

I finished  The Pledge :: Kimberly Derting. It is nice when I am pleasantly surprised by a book. I put off reading this book for a long time. I didn't think I would like. Well I was wrong. It was very good. Actually I couldn't put the book down I just had to find out how it ended.  Well written. Look forward to reading book 2 I put it on my WL.

i'm actually reading CITY OF BONES for the first time.  Walmart (gag) had a MMP size of it (my preferred reading size of books) and I wanted to have it done before the movie comes out Aug 21.  I read 1/2 of it between Sat/Sun already...

FINALLY finished SISTERLAND by Curtis Sittenfeld.  It was OK...nothing great.  Didn't love any of the characters and the book jumped back and forth too much for my liking.  Now I'd like to finish CITY OF BONES before we head to the beach on Saturday, but have a feeling it's gonna be making a trek to Virginia with us...Have far too much going on the next few nights....  DH and DS come home tonight after 10 days at the Scout National Jamboree in WV...  Can't wait to hear all about it!!

I just started The Archived. I don't see what all the hype is about. Its excruciatingly slow for me. Read it for 2 hours and I'm only on page 38. That is UNHEARD OF!

I started  Kiss of Frost (Mythos Academy, Bk 2) :: Jennifer Estep. If forgot how much I liked book one. It was of these series I put aside and didn't get back to. Jennifer Estep tells a very good story.
