Haven't seen this one started yet.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad - What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not  - Robert Kiyosaki - ISBN 0964385619 (good condition other than lots and lots of highlighting)

Personal Financial Planning -  Lawrence Gitman & Michael Joehnk - ISBN 003075481x (Slight water damage on cover and one corner of pages, does not effect text or readability, otherwise in good textbook condition)

Lady Chatterly's Lover - DH Lawrence - 1962 paperback, No ISBN (mystery stains (some possibly could be mold) throughout the book, no effect on readability)

The Happy Hollisters at Pony HIll Farm - Jerry West - 1956 First Edition hardback (back cover has paper stuck to it, some scorch marks or oil stains, no effect on readability)

The Temple of Gold - William Goldman - 1958 paperback, No ISBN (Spine is badly cleaved, detached from cover.  Will hold together for at least one more read, more if you're gentle.  Cover is ripped and taped together.)

Pollyanna in Hollywood - Elizabeth Horton - 1931 First edition hardback (In good condition for its age, but there are a few stains and the spine has some small cracking at the top and base.)

Mystery of Seven Gables - EJ Craine - 1936 hardback (Also in good condition for it's age, a few little stains and the book jacket is present but the edges are torn quite a bit)

I have the following unpostable books. Feel free to choose one free with each book ordered from my shelf. Just PM to let me know which one you want.

The following books are damaged as described:

  • Black House by Stephen King & Peter Straub ISBN: 0-345-44103-6 (paperback) Only slightly worn, this book would be postable if not for a large tear on the back cover where a sticker or tape was removed.
  • So Far From the Bamboo Grove – Yoko Kawashima Watkins ISBN: 0-688-13115-8 (paperback) Large creases on both front and back cover, but clean pages and tight binding. Ex school book with “Used Book” stamped on it.
  • River God – Wilbur Smith ISBN: 0-312-95446-8 (paperback)  On this one, the cover is torn along the front and is beginning to come lose from the binding. All the pages are still intact. There is an inscription on the first page.
  • The Witching Hour – Anne Rice ISBN: 0-345-38446-6 (paperback) This book’s cover is about halfway torn off. Pages are intact and have been stamped by a used bookstore.
  • The Catcher in the Rye – J.D. Salinger (paperback) This is an older copy; the cover is about halfway torn off. The pages are yellowed and stained from storage. I can’t find an ISBN number.
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – J.K. Rowling ISBN: 0-439-35807-8 (paperback) I just got this a few weeks ago from another swapper, but it is too worn for me to put back into the system. There is a little bit of staining on some of the pages, the corners of the cover are beginning to curl up and the first few pages are torn slightly. (The tears do not affect readability.)
  • Irish Dreams – Nora Roberts ISBN: 0-373-28541-8 (paperback) This one has some wavy pages, but is still readable.
  • Cause of Death – Patricia Cornwell ISBN: 978-0-425-21338-4(paperback) The glue is failing on this book. The front cover is loose, and so is a 50 page chunk of the book.
  • The Talisman – Stephen King & Peter Straub ISBN: 0-425-10533-4 (paperback) This one’s cover is loose, there is a small stain on the pages and there is some yellowing.
  • Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - J.K. Rowling ISBN: 0-439-78596-0 (paperback) This is another one that I ordered from another member and is just a little too worn for me to post back into the system. There are small tears and creases on the front cover and a small amount of water damage on the last few pages.
  • The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Attwood ISBN: 0-449-21260-2 (paperback) This book has stamps on the pages from a used book store and a sticker on the front from "Operation Paperback." There are also a few small tears on the cover and the front flap of the cover is coming apart from the binding.
  • Because of Winn-Dixie - Kate DiCamillo ISBN: 0-7636-2558-2 (paperback) This book is in almost new condition and would be postable if not for a small liquid stain on the first 30 or so pages.

The following books came from a long-term storage shed. They are all readable, but are yellowed, stained, and musty.

  • Cabal – Clive Barker ISBN: 0-671-68514-7 (paperback)
  • Jurassic Park – Michael Crichton UPC: 0-7099900699 (paperback) There are stickers on the back cover of this one.

  • Violin – Anne Rice ISBN: 0-345-2530-8 (paperback)

  • The Mummy – Anne Rice ISBN: 0-345-36994-7 (paperback)
  • Being A Green Mother – Piers Anthony ISBN: 0-345-32223-1 (paperback) This one also has damage to the front and back covers. It looks like something nibbled on the edges.
  • The Magic of Recluce – L.E. Modesitt, Jr. ISBN: 0-812-50518-2 (paperback)
  • The Vampire Armand – Anne Rice ISBN: 0-345-4380-3 (paperback)
