Hi all!! Question about the Highlander Series by Karen Marie Moning.  I'm on the 3rd book and though ok, it seems to be the same as the first 2, just different people?  Is the rest of the series the same way?  Want to know before I invest anymore time.

Thanks!!!

I think everyone will have different opinions, but I think the answer is pretty much yes.  I think some that I've read were better than others, but most of them seem to involve  a beautiful 23 or 24 year old falling in love with some magical higlander or other.  I think I maybe liked "The Immortal Highlander" and "Spell of the Highlander" slightly better, but only because the heroes were slightly darker, though the heroines, IMO are all the same.  I've pretty much given up on them, now.

I have read them all except for one and I think the first one and the last one are the best. If you read her Fever series there is a lot in the Highlander books that set up a little bit of the Fever series.

Thanks again

I love the Fever series too. I hate finding a new series because I can't stand waiting for the next one to come out!

I just finished the 3rd highlander book and I plan to keep reading..they're not superdupergreat but I do enjoy them. maybe I've spaced them out because they're similar..I don't mind books being similar just so I know to space them out! I bought spell of the highlander first and that's the one I'm workign towards!

I just have to say that if the book has a man in a kilt in it... I will read it til it is tatters!  I have the Highlander series and love them.  The slight paranomal aspect is just frosting!
