Just wondering if anyone knows if Tabke's Blood Sword Series will continue?  I just started this series and am enjoying it.  I went to her website to see when the next book would be out and saw it promoting a new series for 2011 & 2012 - Blood Moon.   Since the jacket of the first 2 books mentions that there are 10 Blood Sword Knights, I assumed there would be 10 books.  But perhaps this series didn't sell well for her (despite the first 3 beeing WL here).

I hope she has not lost interest in the series....as Karen Marie Morning seems to have done with her Highlander series....only releasing her Fever series it seems now.

Any info someone has is appreciated!

Pauline, I read the 3 Blood Sword books that are out and loved them.  Anyway, couldn't wait for the next one to come out.  When her website didn't mention anything about a future book I actually e-mailed Ms. Tabke several months ago.  She graciously answered me and said she hoped to continue the series and was shopping for another publisher.  I think the Blood Sword Legacy series was published by Pocket, but it looks like the Blood Moon series may be published by Berkley Heat.  Not exactly sure what that means--maybe I will have to e-mail her again!

Nancy,

Thanks for the info.  Glad to hear the author is still interested.  Hopefully, she'll get a publisher soon!

Pauline, just got an answer from Karin Tabke.  It reads as follows:

Not shopping another publisher at this time, though my agent and I have been discussing the Blood Sword Legacy series at length recently.  Nothing concrete yet, but one way or another, I will complete the series.  As far as the Blood Moon trilogy, I'm very excited about it.  Take care for now, and as soon as I have any news regarding my hunky knights, I'll post it.  Keep your fingers crossed!

Pauline, a little birdie told me to look at this site:  www.KarinHarlow.com.  Take a look at it--Looks interesting!

well is the series left hanging or just some characters haven't gotten their story  yet? I sure don't want to start with those 3 and be left hanging!

Nancy,

Thanks for the info.  Guess we'll just have to wait and see.  Meanwhile, there are so many good books out there just waiting to be read.  The Karin Harlow book looks good.  Is it the same author using a different name for the paranormal stuff?

Susanna,

I have only finished the 1st book so don't know if we're left hanging or not.  The first book ended its storyline...no cliff-hangers.  There was of course a mention of how the other knights were off on their on aventures.  Not sure if this approach carries through with the next 2 books published or if she put cliff-hangers in the next books after getting the 1st published and an audience interested????

Hi Pauline,

Yes, it is the same author using a different name for the paranormal stuff.  The new book does look good, and although I don't read as much of the paranormal as the historical stuff, I guess I will have to get it!

Susanna,

I don't think you will find it a problem just reading the first three.  They do refer to the other knights in the books, and you assume that their story will be in another book, but I don't think you will be disappointed that you read the first three.  My guess is that since she has the Blood Moon trilogy coming out next year and it is inferred that this paranormal series will continue, that it could be awhile before we see any more of these knights!
