My friend just sent me a box of books including books from the above mentioned authors. I've never read any of them - anyone have any experience with them?? Thanks!

Pamela Clare has great historicals- Ride the Fire( my favorite), Surrender, Untamed, Sweet Release, Carnal Gift. Her contemporaries get great reviews also( I haven't read them.)

Lord Ruin by Carolyn Jewel is on my keeper pile. I also liked Scandal.

Haven't read Katherine Kingsley.

Read and enjoyed Pamela Clare's historicals.  Her Mackinnon's series is a favorite.

Carolyn Jewel is on my tbr shelf-Scandal.

? about the Katherine Kingley's...are they her Signet traditional Regencies??  If so, you are in for a treat(imo).  Loved them-some are still on my keeper shelf.  Again, imo-I think she was less successful with the move to a longer format-historical Regency.  I remember reading an interview with her years ago in RT about how she just wasn't "into" writing romance anymore.  She was at the time a fellow Coloradean so I remember paying attention.  I think her lack of interest shows in particular her last one-can't remember which one-something about a lake in the title?  I'll look it up.

Lillies on the Lake is the title that I was thinking of for Katherine Kingsley.  Give her a try-maybe you're opinion will be different.  Now-her two Topaz imprints?  fabulous.  But-again imo-late nineties or later-not her best.

I like Pamela Clare.  Don't know the others.
