Hello,

I see that Kelley Armstrong's new book Personal Demon involves Hope Adams, the character from one of her novellas.  I read that novella but haven't read all of her books.  Does anyone know what other books Hope appears in?  Thanks.

Susan

If I remember correctly, she first appeared in the anthology Dates From Hell, but she hasn't really been a player in any other book

Chaotic" by Kelly Armstrong--Hope is half demon, her ability to see and feel chaos magic both a help and a hindrance at times. When her mother sets her up on a blind date, chaos jumps up and runs amock in the form of jewel thief and werewolf, Marsten. An enigmatic man, to say the least, her boss wants something from Marsten and she's to make sure he stays put till the boss arrives. When she realizes she's being used, she and Marsten throw in together to ensure their survival.--I've heard such wonderful things about Armstrong's books, never picked them up though. This short was an excellent intro to her kick-butt, no-nonsense style and I definitely plan on picking up her books in the future. Hope and Marsten were an interesting pair I would love to see in a full-length book. Four Stars.

Thanks Ashley - I knew about the anthology.  I had read that story.  But I read soe synopses of Personal Demon and I get the impression that Hope and Marsten appeared in some other books.

I know Karl is mentioned a bit more, but they are barely mentioned and even Kelley has commented on that. Some people are mad that other more known characters haven't gotten books yet lol

Hi, Susan.

I'm a big fan of Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series.  Marsten is in Bitten & Broken...I don't remember Hope from any of the others.  This is a great series involving vamps, werewolves, demons, witches, etc...I think it's best to start from the first book (Bitten) and work your way through the series.  Each book focuses on a different lead character, but all of the characters make an appearance earlier on in the series so you get to know their background.

I believe Hope was in the last book (memory is going - I just mailed it!) it's the book with Jamie Vegas as the main character.
