These three books were a fun read. Even though I read Cathy’s first book four years ago, I’m glad it was included in this compilation of stories. It was a great introduction to Kelly’s two follow-up books (Kelly is Cathy’s daughter). I enjoyed the dialogue and found the characters interesting and enjoyable. A fast, fun read. If you like Christian fiction and historical fiction, I think you’ll enjoy these books about the Chance brothers.

Wonderful read! Enjoyed it so much I stayed up way to long reading the book. I can't wait to read more by these authors.

3 short stories but all tied together with the same people and all with happy endings. Interesting to see how the living was in the KY mountains back in the 1800's. I really enjoyed this book, it was hard to put down.

This was a VERY good book abt. the hill families and people of Kentucky. They reached out to each other for help and started families and depended onm each other. There are three stories abt. the Chance boys and how they found their wives and either moved or began their own homes. I hardily recommend this book.
