A nice introduction to Silva's series of Gabriel Allon books. It gives a good perspective of the intelligence world and Israel's security concerns from the non-British, non-U.S. perspective, which provides a change of pace from most spy novels. Well written, with a good sense of pace and well-developed characters.

Typical espionage/thriller novel. Interesting slant given the Israeli - Palestinian component. The book moves fairly fast and kept my attention which is what I would expect from books of this genre.

Interesting read with believable characters. The story was up to date and accurate.
It is a read-alone story and not dependent on the series having been read.

A well written spy story that is very enjoyable to read. After reading his first book I went on to read more of his work. I highly recommend his books.
