This book was a spellbinder. I would like to recommend it for anyone who likes sex, money, drugs and suspense in their books to read this. I had trouble putting it down.

What a disgusting person was Tracey Humphrey. Really had all the bad traits, so it is hard to see how he got a dim-witted, insecure girl to commit murder. But, that's what happened. The story reels out pretty clearly. I liked the writing all right though didn't feel it was one of Phelps' best books. The twists and turns keep the reader interested though it is clear from the beginning how the murder was planned and why. I would have enjoyed a little more detail about the victim, Sandee Rozzo's, life. The whole body-building and personal trainer culture gets somewhat of a send-up when the shallow viewpoints of some of them are exposed.
