Good book featuring SleuthElvis! Do not read if you are looking for historical accuracy.

This is the first of a series of mysteries featuring Elvis Presley. If you like Elvis at all you'll enjoy Kill Me Tender. Elvis as a character is a smart, God-fearing and big hearted guy who's not terribly comfortable with his celebrity. The story takes place after Elvis gets out of the Army, and it has a great feel of time and place. I would classify this as a cozy, although there is a bit of rough language. I definitely recommend.

Not at all bad- worth a read even if you aren't an Elvis fan. My detailed knowledge of Elvis is not remarkable but I enjoyed the book anyway. Enough to want to read the next one anyway. It grew on me as I read.
