This collection of editorial cartoons which were pulled from publication (killed) would have been entertaining just for the humor content. But the editorial framework, discussing the circumstances of the killing (often with commentary from the artists) raises the book to a whole new level. It presents a vivid and frightening picture of a "free" press increasingly muzzled by misplaced political correctness, economic pressures, and governmental interference.
