Killer Dreams (Iris Johansen)
Suspense
Sophie Dunston is a researcher in sleep problems/sleep terrors etc. Her son also suffers from sleep apnea and terrors. She is trying to rid him of these terrors. But she has a secret past, a secret that could kill her.
Enter into her life is Matt Royd, unpredictable, ruthless and dangerous.
It seems he may be her only choice to stay alive, she must trust him it is her only change at survival. When her sons life is in danger, she moves forward with Royd to uncover the hidden truth and stop a madman before he destroys more lives.
I was a bit mislead and disappointed with this book of Johansen's. I've read others of hers that are better. The title led me to believe something entirely different from the storyline, although I did read the summary on the back. I didn't find the story that believable and most people don't hang out with assassins. Better luck next time.
A very good book and keeps you quessing about what is going on until the end.
