A friend sent me a zip file of a book for kindle.  Question is I have no clue.  I keep googling without luck.  Is there a way to transfer it to my kindle.  I don't have a reg kindle but just the kindle app on my iphone.  I wishlisted it so probably by time I figure it out it will come in.  :)

Well, Amazon does not support the exchange of books in that manner (still illegal as far as I know), so I really doubt they will help her.

You would certainly have to unzip it on your computer, first.

Thanks, I had no idea.  Sounded weird to me.  I'll just wait for the book to come on WL.  I'm still trying to rebel against the E-books.

Try putting it into your computer....then download Calibre [free]  Transfer it to calibre program....  Then conect your kindle to computer highlight & right click a screen should pop up then click on where you want the book to go.     I do this to transfer Kobo books into my Kindle ...  So I thinking this would work for you!
