I noticed a new button to buy Kindle versions (finally) of books through PBS and Amazon. Does PBS get credit for Kindle sales like they do for regular books?

I'm guessing here, but just like any transaction started here by a link to a site like Amazon, PBS gets "click-thru" compensation no matter what you buy.

PBS gets a tiny amount anytime you go through them to order.  I try to remember, always to enter Amazon through PBS even if I'm not buying books.  That way I'm helping the site out in my own way.

Coz, does PBS get credit when we go through them to Amazon, even without buying books?? I click on the amazon button a lot just to get extra reviews of books or to download samples to my kindle.  It would be nice to know I'm helping PBS out in the process!

It is my understanding Gina, that PBS gets credit if you buy anything.  Not if you just click on things and don't buy.

I often enter Amazon through PBS and move completely away from books, but stay on the Amazon site to buy other things.

It might be worth asking the Team if that has changed. In the past, they said everything but e-books earned them $.

Shop at Amazon?  We’ll hook you up. At the top of every page on the site now this familiar icon is there to remind you that any of your Amazon purchases will support PBS if you start on our site and get to Amazon that way.  If you are going over to Amazon to shop, just click the link at the top of the PaperBackSwap page, and support the club with any Amazon purchase you make (excluding e-books).  If you start at PBS and put items into your cart, they will “count” if and when you eventually buy them.   So start your shopping trip with us; every little bit helps
