My mother in law just gave me her kindle fire.     how do delete apps?   I downloaded some free ones.  they turned out to be junk and now I want them off my kindle?  I hit sync  but nothing was removed from the screen.  thanks for the help

Go to Amazon.com  To your account  Look in the list for Your Apps  Delete them from there.  Then go to Kindle Fire  Put your finger on the apps you dont want.  A grey box will popup  put your finger on Delete from Device.    You can do the same to remove ebooks music movies etc.     IF you want to KEEP   Dont DELETE from your Amazon Account!   Just Delete from Device!   It will still be there whenerver you want it again.

I ended up using "restore factory settings" and that worked for most of them but then I downloaed another junk one.  It is so annoying when the free app i really just advertising something else.....   Thanks for taking the time to help me out. 

I had my Fire HD  Found a Lot made for Fire Dont work!   sucks  Not many do I am afraid.   Some that do I dont like LOL   Games work best LOL
