Has anyone seen this?  Is it any good?  I DVRed it but am not sure if I should bother to watch.  I haven't read the book.

It's been a long time since I've read Bag of Bones, so I can't speak to how well they followed the original story, but I enjoyed the series.

Bag of Bones is one of my favorite Stephen King books.  I really liked it a lot.  As far as the movie, I can't tell I prefer books.

I've never read the book but did try to watch.  It was dull and I never got through the first installment.

I've a high tolerance when it comes to horror and ghost stories, I can enjoy a not- so-great adaption (Tommyknockers comes to mind!) but despite liking the actors, I found it to be ponderous and not worth my time.

I don't read King books anymore, he seems to try to make them as long as he can and I don't go for books over 350-400 pages and some of his are boring to read, however, I did watch this one and I sort of liked it, you just have to stick with it until it starts to get to the 'real' story within the story.  Pierce Brosnan did a good job but he is beginning to show his age and he looked rather 'puffy'

Ive never read Bag of Bones, but I have read about a dozen of so King books an I havent enjoyed a single one. However, I do like a handful of his movies, and I rather did like this show/series! Pierce Brosnan did do a pretty good job!
