Going to be honest with you guys. I "dislike" this book intensely. It was very boring not very interesting, it didn't hold me captive at the start at all..it was just like a continuous EXTREMELY boring story that seemed to pop out of no where. I hate books that "hint" at things all the freaking time. Ok, i get the first three or four times but almost 20 times or more than that in the first 82 pages of the book is stupid. The characters were uninteresting, i don't "feel" a personality from them like i usually do in most great books. i didn't like this book at all. Also hated the fact that characters seemed to pop out of no where, there was no build up or understanding it was more like POP there in the book and than there were always there from that moment without getting WHY the hell they are there, who they are etc etc...its all about frustratingly annoying HINTS that drive you crazy. DO noT wasTe YOUR TIME with this book!!

I was a little disappointed, based on other reviews. I skimmed the 2nd half of the book because the "poor tortured souls" of the main characters depressed me. Although I did really enjoyed the secondary characters. I still plan to read the rest of this series.

5* 1-nighter for me! Reminds me of Julia Quinn's earlier books! =)

I loved this story! I was so glad to read to another Sophia Nash book, and I fell in love with these characters. Nash can write such a realistic story. It's remarkably easy to watch this story unfold in your mind. Each chapter was like the next event in a real life situation. Finishing this book made me want to get more of her books.

Well, I must say that I liked the book. While it did not have the spark that the first book had, the push-pull relationship between Georgiana and Quinn was intriguing. She had had a crush on Quinn since childhood and having him back after 15 years was unsettling to her. It took a while for the two of them to come to terms with their new found positions, her a widow of his cousin and best friend in childhood and him a widower with a young daughter. He thinks she grieves for her husband who died on their wedding night and she thinks he grieves for his late wife. The Widow's Club (Barely Bereaved Beauties, as Quinn calls them) do help to sort things out and the high spirited little girl adds her helping hand. I enjoyed the book. It rather stands alone rather than being a continuation of the first book.
