Helen Kay Dimon story set in Hawaii was a real dud. Trying too hard to write a screenplay perhaps?
Jill Shalvis sets her tale in Colorado mountains, with a city boy determined to rescue a contrary inn-keeper. OK
Donna Kauffman relies on the age-old unrequited highschool crush. Her characters are likable.
