Riveting story- hooked me from the first moment and kept me deeply involved to the very end. One of the first stories in a long time that makes me want to hear it again. I really think the audio version helped me with the pronunciation of so many foreign words. I'm ready to read the novel itself now. Deeply moving and heartfelt- can't believe I waited so long!

Great, heart-wrenching story...makes commuting time fly by. The story is read by the author which adds to it's excellence. Khaled Hosseini is the next great novelist of our time--a modern day John Steinbeck!

Very moving story! I really enjoyed listening to this.
An amazing book, especially interesting because of the current struggles in the Middle East.
