The author of this beloved book: Mr. Keith Briant, is an Englishman living in England. The author is at home recovering from surgery at Christmas and his wife takes pity on him and gives him a Siamese kitten named Minna for Christmas. Minna turns the Briant household upside down. Minna eats holes in the wool suits the author's wife leaves for the dry cleaners. The whole neighborhood is outside looking for darling little Minna, and she is up inside the author's bedsprings under his bed. This is a fun, engaging, interesting book. Minna is a very smart, but mischievous Siamese kitten. There is nothing safe with Minna, the little darling in the house. This is a true story. This a Christmas and anytime classic. I have two copies, otherwise I would not part with this book. This is the book for animal lovers everywhere and especially cat lovers beware, you may fall in love with Minna. I was given this book many Christmases ago and I love to read the story of that darling scamp of a cat Minna sometime during the year. This book is a ten star book!
