Liked it as much as "Sword of Darkness," book one. Storyline is a mix of Arthur's tales, his knights, his magic, and a lot of humor thrown in. MacGregor definitely has a passion for Arthurian legend. Characters are memorable and unique, and very funny. Worth spending the credit. The sex is a bit more detailed than in book 1, but the story has enough foundation to back it up.

This is a great example of Kinley MacGregor/Sherilyn Kenyon's mix of action, romance, fantasy and humor. This is another installment that takes place after the fall of Camelot into the evil Morgen's hands. If you love Monty Python quotes and other silliness, you will thoroughly enjoy this time with the main character, Varian duFey!
I went into to this book with the same lame idea it was going to be just another stupid romance (i really don't care much for lame romance) BUT this one isn't your typical book. The title caught my eye, "Knights of Darkness" and I was hopeing that it would have something to do with the "Merlin/Arthor" time line. I was not dissappointed at all! It was a WONDERFULL BOOK! A great plot with lots of wonderful charictures, good background into the Knights of the round table time line. You will find only two sexually related parts (both very mild) and not until close to the end. The rest is a lot of action, good laughs, hateing the bad guys, and wanting to know if there are other's in this series. :)
I loved the imagery! Quite the imagination. The forest that the characters get trapped in is a little "Princess Bride" like with it's "Pit of Despair", etc. The banter between the characters is also pretty amusing, with quotes from Monty Python's Holy Grail and "Spamalot".
