I dont knit, but would like to learn. Even if you are not a knitter, you will enjoy this book. I think the Author has talent. She doesnt overwhelm you with quirky characters, or weird names, or bizarre new terms. She knew how to make the story, the knitting and characters believable. The investigating people officers were not labeled and fools. You didnt feel insulted by the end of the story and you didnt feel like they rushed in the end as they reveal all the details. I just ordered the second book and I cant say I do that for all the Cozies I have started to read.

Loved this easy read bk with a clever plot and ending. If you like to knit and go to knit shops this mystery is especially good. There are 2 knit patterns and a sticky bun reciepe too.

The most fun aspect of this novel was the additional facts that kept coming to light right up to last chapter. We learned about Aunt Helen's history right along with the main character, her niece Kelly. Some readers won't enjoy the fact that some of the characters may be considered stereotypical comedic fare. But if you enjoy a mostly cozy mystery that is basically a puzzle with pieces that come to light step by step, then you will probably enjoy this book.
