Topic: Knitting needle swap?

I recently bought a full set of bamboo 5" DPKN that I'm looking to trade off. I bought them, never having tried bamboo needles, and they really don't work with my knitting style. I also realized that I'm too careless to use short needles! :) If anyone is interested in bamboo needles, PM me and I'd love to work something out for longer, DP, aluminum needles. I'll never use these, so I'd even be happy to a 2-1 or 3-1 swap. ETA: These are UK sizes. |

I have never used bamboo needles, but have several duplicates of needles ( metal and plastic)as I inherited my mother's needles when she passed away, I have given away a lot of them, but I might come up with 3 or 4 pair of duplicates that I have. I have been knitting for over 50 years, so have gathered them up over the years, sometimes I had two projects going that called for the same size, I also had a pen pal in England when I was a teenager and have a pair or two of english needles, ( their sizes are the opposite of ours) Let me know if you are interested in trading some of them or what ever. Are there any particular sizes you're looking for? If the needles are double pointed, I'd love to do a swap or whatever. :) I've got regular straight needles out of my ears, but I've just started sock knitting so I haven't had time to grow a collection of the DP's.
