I sometimes have books given to me that I enjoy. I then go through the search process to see if it is listed on PBS. If it is already there I put it in a pile to pass on to the thrift shop. Is there any way to tell if there are 5 copies or 50 of a title? If only a few I might go ahead and post it. Any ideas? Thanks |

If you add the book to your Reminder List you can see the number of copies in the system on that list. |

I added a book to my reminder pile & it tells you how many copies are posted. |

Misread the post. Didn't get enough sleep last night. I agreed with the others. Putting it on your reminder list is the only way. Last Edited on: 8/5/08 2:52 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

But considering that 5,074 were mailed today, 30 copies of one title will move way faster than 3 of another. I have never found any rhyme or reason to what gets ordered from my shelf. Books that I am sure will move quickly sit, and others get ordered sooner than I would have guessed. |

Yep. In the past week I had two requests for books that have been on my shelf for what seems like forever. I was planning to drop them off with other slow moving books at the local Salvation Army this weekend. Hmmmm...maybe I'll hold on to them for just a little bit longer, LOL. |
