OK, ladies and gentlement, let's have some fun. You know you're having a bad day when you receive a friend request from someone you don't know and their profile begins:

I went to a party when I was eleven and didn't get back until I was forty five. I managed to put an end to more than thirty years of alcohol and drug addiction culminating with a stretch in the state prison system. Upon being released from the California Department of Corrections...

I received several odd friends requests over the past fews days at LT. But in the end, it was a good thing because I found an outstanding one from Misfit. Sorry I missed that. We're now friends. angel

This may not be fun...but you know you are having a bad day when one of your team members comes in first thing Monday morning and tells you they have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.  That's how my day started.  Very sad.

Christa, I'm so sorry to hear that.  Lung cancer is an awful disease; my dh lost his brother to it.

Oh, Christa, I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to him/her and their family.

My brother was diagnosed about 6 or 7 years ago with stage 3 astrocytoma (brain cancer). The prognosis was dismal, but today he is in remission and doing well.

I'll pray the same result for your team member.

Sorry for killing your fun thread with my sad news, Genie....

To get it going again, here is my favorite wacky RC that I have gotten:

I am not willing to accept books with pictures of dentists, books about dentists, or written by dentists.

I PM'ed the guy and asked if he was just messing around or seriously has an aversion to dentists.  He responded that he just thinks people putting their hands in his mouth is disgusting.  His profile also demonstrates a quirky sense of humor.  We exchanged several PM's working through a multiple-book deal and it was a lot of fun!

lol Christa!  That is perfect!  There is a lady that is always on the CMT forums that "collects" unusual R.C.'s I think this one would qualify thanks for the laugh!

Christa, sorry about your friend.

Genie, glad we're friends now. I hardly go over to LT anymore except to check the giveaways. Lots more action over at Goodreads.

That's a riot!

Letty, I think I posted it in her thread already.  I bet the guy is great at parties!
