Okay, am I the only one who thinks this is an AWESOME series.  Every time I touch one of these books I put it down only maybe to use the bathroom and get something to drink and walk the dogs.  LOL  LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I've heard good about this series. I read the first and didn't think it was the greatest, but I liked it. I have the rest in my TBR but I can't seem to get around to the next one. I always put it back

I like it a lot.  I think some are better than others.  I did really like Dark Desires After Dusk, and I have great hopes for Kiss of A Demon King

I just read the first one and thought it was good.  I didn't like the beginning (thought it was too violent), but towards the middle the book got better.  I ordered the next in the series the other day.

I sent the first one on.  Thought it was good, not great.   Not worth adding another series to my TBR pile.

i liked the whole series, but my favorites so far are Dark Desires After Dusk (Immortals After Dark, Bk 5) and No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, Bk 2)

i'm looking forward to book 6, and hope it's as good as his brother's book!

I'm one of those that couldn't get into her books.  Don't know what the problem was.

It would be a boring world if we all liked the same books.  It's the finding and discovering that makes reading great.

Yeah, sometimes I'm not into a book and everyone says a series is great and I'm obliged to maybe try the second.  For instance, I could NOT get through Dead Witch Walking by reading it.  I stopped after 50 pages.  The only way I got through it was to get the audio version and listen to it when I was going to bed at night.  I have the first 5 books and it would be a waste not to try at least getting through the second one and seeing if it gets better, but I have zero desire.

I really like the story lines. I find the books really slow reading for some reason, but I like the story so much I plod through it.

I have these in my tbr but haven't gotten around to starting them yet..have 3 more plus a shorty in an anthology left in Karen Marie Moning's Highlanders series then maybe I'll start these..but by then Kerrelyn Sparks might have her latest one out and that was one of my fastest series reads ever!

How is the Highlander series, I've been meaning to try it?  K. Sparks has a cute series, I'm up to book 4 and I read them inside a day, but they don't enrap me like IAD.  Don't know why, that's my type of romance story,  Like it's a struggle, and antagonist and protagonist, but steamy....LOL

I LOVE THE SERIES!  Ashley - like you, I didn't love the first book but I loved the concept of the characters and I found the periphery characters intriguing enough to get the next book and I haven't been sorry!  The new one should be arriving in my mail this week!

I just finished Kiss of a Demon King, the last in the series. It was good.   I liked the whole series but I found the first one a bit slow.  Also, I seem to like the ones about the Lykae better than the ones about the vamps.  For some reason the vamps in this series seem so boring to me.  They don't have any emotion until they meet their true mate.  I really, really dig the demons.  Caedon in Dark Desires After Dusk was my fav.  But, like most, I really didn't like the first book.  I suggest you keep on because the characters are so varied (including Valkyries, witches, vamps, demons) you're sure to find one that you like.

I loved the series too. The first book had me fanning myself while reading, I think I was staring at the pages all goggle-eyed (my husband even commented - lol). I still have to read the most recent two, but so far the first is still my favorite. Maybe because it was the first paranormal romance I ever read, so it helped me discover the genre. I didn't think it was slow at all!

I feel the exact same way.  Hunger like No Other was my fave.  Then I think No Rest for the Wicked.  I liked the story with Kaderin and Bastien.

Yep I am in love with the series (this is one series I buy every book new). Can't get enough. I love the humor and the characters. Plus I think (in general) they get better the more she writes into the series which seems to rarely, rarely happen. I am probably going to get Kiss of a Demon King this weekend with my Border's birthday coupon. But I am dissapointed by the blah cover. I like all the colorful colors on the other books. Livens up the bookshelf.
