Not as good as Breath, Eyes, Memory, but still enjoyable and interesting to learn some of the Haitian culture.

Short Stories about growing up in Haiti and then moving to the United States. Very interesting cultural insights! Loved it!

Edwidge Danticat is an extraordinary writer. This book was a series of short stories, but the people were all related in some way. It is my plan to have all of her books sitting on my shelf...they are definitely re-reads!
