This book is a tightly spun epic thriller of love, magic, and intrigue well worthy of the series it concludes. Imriel's story, writ almost as large in the history of Terre D'Ange as Phedre's, ranges once again across the not quite familiar continents of Carey's imaginings bringing together friends, lovers and enemies both old and new in the name of love.
I love Imri and Sidonie together, and once again I couldn't put this book down. These books are all so full of intrigue and magic and adventure, but I just love the dynamic between Imriel and Sidonie as lovers and partners. This was a great ending to their stories, but it's one of those that will stay with you long after.
