This is a book about some of the weird folks and their stories from 1930''s L.A. Interesting read about people, if you are a people watcher you will like this. There's the story of Dr. Rebecca Dorsey who was the first female Doctor to practice medicine in L.A. The story of "Rattlesnake James" who was married to several women at once and murdered one by having 2 rattlesnakes bite her foot while she was sleeping. Jack Northup who led the movement in California during the 30's of advancement in aviation.

Very interesting read, hardcover book in excellent condition.
