A good novel about love, death and money. An American, a dot-com executive-Amy Hawkins- who has a fortune goes to Europe in search of her roots. The plot will keep you reading with the various characters and happenings in the French alps- good and bad. The reader will be entertained by Diane Johnson's writing, quite amusing.
