Okay...I just finished Black Jack last night and I'm scratching my head-

At the end of the book (Epilogue), Lilly's brother Jared walks in... not alone... and it says something like (sorry don't have the book in front of me) she looked at the brother that had disowned her and the father she thought she had lost....huh? Then she goes on to make up with her brother and live happily ever after. So? What of the Dad? WTH am I not getting here? Was Dad there or did Jared just look like Dad? And Uncle Desmond was there too but obviously not the Dad..crying

LOL I read it three times but it was late at night and I was tired,,,woke up this morning thinking about it, I can't wait to get home from work to reread it again. Anyone else confused by this? I'm really hoping I'm not a complete idiot frown

Jared, her brother knew who she was the whole time. He was pretending to not know her in order to protect her from her mother. Even when he had came on to her at the party in the past, it was all a ruse to protect her. the dad part, I would have to go back and look it up. I don't remember if dad was really alive or what. but i do remember the brother part.

I read about 100 pages of that book and then I'm saying to myself "Why are you still reading this thing--it is boring and confusing??"   So I posted it and got rid of it.

haven't read this one but I normally read Lora Leigh for the sex and the storyline is just for resting up for the next round...
