What happens when there is a problem swap for a la cart members (or even limited members and their free fee swap credit or whatever they're called)?

So, I order Book A and pay $0.49 transaction fee or use a free-swap credit.  Say Book A arrives damaged or goes lost in the mail.  Would I then have to pay another $0.49 or free swap fee credit to get a postable copy of that same book?

Every member is assigned a Tour Guide when they first become members. That is not going to change.  This question forum is also going to stay open for all members.

If there is a problem with the book, you will not need to re-pay the fee.  The fee is per transaction, and since your transaction was not completed, it will carry over.

My tour guide is long gone.  And, I'm not sure what a Tour Guide has to do with my question at all. I didn't ask about this forum either.  I'm trying to make an informed decision on what to do with my remaining credits and PBS money.

I order Book A using 1 book credit and pay the $0.49 transaction fee.

Book A arrives water damaged.  As soon as I mark that book RWAP it is a completed transaction.  It is up to the sender whether they refund my book credit but what happens to the $0.49 transaction fee I paid?

Book B is offered to me on my WL.  I order Book B using 1 book credit and paying $0.49 transaction fee.  Book B goes lost in the mail and gets put back on my WL. I get my book credit back. What happens to the $0.49 transaction fee I paid?

Shannon, those are good questions.  I've sent in feedback to the team to get some answers since they have not been addressed.

Thank you Mary. Please let me know if you find out anything.

I'm not complaining about the changes.  It is what it is, I just want to know exactly what I'm getting into before making a decision.

Shannon, Tour Guides provide Live Help, and are available to answer questions.  Even when I'm logged off, I get questions from members and they get answered as soon as I log back in.

I did not mean to sound dismissive, but we are a resource that are willing and able to help members at all levels.
