This is an excellent and fascinating book about the life of Abigail Scott Duniway, an Oregon pioneer woman who later championed the rights of women in that state. She published a newspaper, the New Northwest and hosted Susan B Anthony at a rally in 1871. She was also the first woman to vote in Oregon -- after working for woman suffrage for 41 years. Lots of great photos and a lively writing style make this book an easy read into an interesting topic.
