Queen Latifah writers her memoir unapologetically and with an openess and honesty that I've never seen displayed in an autobiography. I felt like I was having a conversation with one of my girlfriends...Dana Owens is a true role model to younger girls and even more inspiring to us 30 somethings that grew up to her as the "Queen".

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and even though Queen Latifah is younger than I am, she really is my role model. When I think I can't possiblty be any "stronger", I think back to some of her philosophies and the way she has handled her life and I realize that I can pull myself through. White, black or Asian, all women can learn something from this book.
