Very well plotted, great characters, a wonderful courtship between two lovers during Charles I's reign. Sneaky courtiers, secondary characters, a beleivable romance between the main characters, time AWAY from court. Very nicely balanced book.

Such a delightful good read. I could not put it down. I wish more books were written like this one.
