The Lake House (When The Wind Blows, Bk 2) (Audio Cassettes) (Unabridged)
The Lake House - When The Wind Blows, Bk 2 - Audio Cassettes - Unabridged Author:James Patterson, Stephen Lang (Narrator), Hope Davis (Narrator) The memorable story begun in When the Wind Blows continues in this thrilling new novel, and it's one that really soars! Frannie O'Neil, a Colorado veterinarian, knows a terrible secret that will change the history of the world. Kit Harrison, an FBI agent under suspension has seen things that no one in his right mind would believe. A twel... more »ve-year-old girl named Max and five other incredible children have powers we can only dream of. These children can fly. And the only place they will be safe is the Lake House. Or so they believe . . .
I enjoyed the content of this book as much as the first one...the "evolution" of the childrens' growth was pretty amazing. The villain couldn't be more menevolent...he has no redeeming qualities. Perhaps the ending was in line with the story but seemed a bit over the top.The story is very imaginative.
Patterson said that these books are his most popular in the world...don't see how. His Murder Club and Alex Cross books are much superior. He remains one of my favorite authors.

I have always enjoyed JAmes Patterson. This book was an interesting and entertaining read. One could not help but fall in love with the main characters in this book. Mr Patterson did well, in drawing his readers in, so that they couldn't put this book down. I read it in 2 days!

A very different book by James Patterson. Six children are made in a Laboratory. .. They are perfect ....they have wings ... and ...they can fly! The writing is terrific and terrifying. Who knows what today's labs are creating. This book could be the headlines of tomorrow. Very different book by a wonderful author.
This book was most definitely not my cup of tea. It may be yours though. I have listened to A LOT of James Patterson's audio books and this one was by far...well...honestly...really inane with very little to recommend it save for the two readers. I suffered through it because it was the only audiobook I had with me on a long drive. Waste of time though. Sorry James Patterson fans.
I just picked this audio book because it was a James Patterson book. I had only ever only read one other book by him. I was pleasantly surprised with this one because the other book I read was When the Wind Blows and this is it's sequel. I enjoyed it very much. Patterson is so descriptive and brings the "flock" to life. Loved it!
