Its a fun story with an interesting base in real history and science. The concept of a surviving civilization of vikings and mammoths in Greenland is really cool, and I think its executed well. The characters aren't very well developed, and the story progression can get a little predictable, but no more so than many books written for 9-12 year-olds.
