I'd like to order some large print books for a couple of family members in an assisted living facility.  How can I be sure that I am getting large print editions?  Some books say it in the title, but no where else in the record for instance, at least as far as I can tell.

Also is there a way to browse just large print fiction for instance?  I don't really have any title in mind, so it's kind of an I'll know it when I see it kind of thing.  As far as genre goes one of them said anything but romance and the other said westerns.  I'm not sure if large print westerns really is a big category.

Any tips on the world of large print books would be appreciated!

If you do an advanced search you can set it to only bring up large print.  Not all large print books are listed on PBS as being large print.  But that would be a place to start. You can also post in the book bazaar that you are looking for large print books.

If you go in the Book Browser (under search), you can check Large Print only for your search and then put in whatever genre or keyword you'd like. You could also put Requestor Condtions on for the specific book.

Yes, you could write a Large Print requestor condition, turn it on, request the book(s), then turn it off again.

There is also a Large Print forum, you could check it out to see if they have some of the books you are looking for.
