Last of the Breed :: Louis L'Amour

Is there a sequel to "last of the breed"?

First L'Amour I have read and it leaves a lot of plot questions hanging. I may even start reading westerns! (sci-fi / fantasy guru)

Please tell me there is a sequel?

Last of the Breed is one of my favorite novels of all time.  Sadly Mr L'Amour died before he could write a sequel.

If you liked LOTB, and you usually read sci-fi other LL novels you might want to check out are Haunted Mesa and The Walking Drum.  Neither of which are westerns in the sense of cowboys and such.

I've never been disapointed in any LL book I've read

If you liked "Last of the Breed" you might try "The Walking Drum" set in Medeval times and tells of a group on a crusade, Good Stuff.    They are the only two, full length, non Western books I know he wrote, though I am no expert. The collection of Short stories set on the Steamers Ships is good also.
