Another police procedural in the 87th precinct by the king of 'em, Ed McBain. The town, a thinly disguised New York. These are always quick, satisfying reads.
I love all the Ed McBain books, but this one wasn't the best for me. Perhaps I had read too many of the older ones before I got to this one. It was just ok for me.
As usual, Ed McBain, keeps you in suspense until the end. Good read!!!!!!!!!!!!!
50TH NOVEL OF THE 87TH PRECINCT
Very good read. Purchasing more of McBains books
I always enjoy the 87th precinct series.
In this city you can get anything done for a price, but the hanging death of a nondescript old man in a shabby apartment seems nothing
but the man had a story that stood to make him lots of money, and leads to a killer whos stays untill the last dance.
Fifteth Novel of the 87th Precinct! Fifty winners!
great adventure murder mystery
I wish you well
