I found this book a little hit-and-miss. An umcomfortable mixture of action, modern history and moralizing, it came off as very 'preachy' in parts and dry in others.
I hate to admit it but I simply stopped reading and gave up with just a few chapters to go.
I enjoyed the prequel, (The Last Jihad), much more.
Fast paced look at the middle-east peace process, those for it and those not.
Arab-Israeli relations.The aftermath of Saddam.
A real roller coaster of a read and eerily prophetic.
Rosenberg's usual on track, prescient novel which is too real.
Rosenberg writes like you are seeing the TV show "24"...action ongoing...and add in prophecy. Gets a bit bogged down at the end..but keeps running fast.
Terrific Read!!! End times prophecies, action packed from beginning to end... See my review for "The Ezekiel Option" same author...dg
In the style of Ludlum but more topical and very relevant to current events.
Pretty good. Alot like the Left behind books, but very Tom Clancy ish. I liked it.
This is the most amazing second book in this series which I have read. This book gives a very possible answer to the middle east question of what is really taking place.
timely...... thrilling read.
This is a rip roaring suspense thriller of geopolitical dimensions. Action Packed.
this is the second book in the series that started with The Last Jihad.
it is a a good political thriller even though the political bent is to farther to the right than i care for...but do read the The Last Jihad first
Great book! I definitely enjoy this!
4 cassettes, approx 6 hours. Very good action, but suspect plot. I vastly prefer his F/SF
Good Middle East conflict story.
A good read filled with lots of fast action about the Middle East conflict 5 years from now
As usual, Joel has done it again. A great political thriller - had a hard time putting it down to sleep!
The Last Days was a very intriguing read. It certainly brought up some of the issues we currently see in the daily news. Highly recommended.
This will keep you on the edge of your seat til you just can't put the book down.
