My least favorite of the series. Rafe Mendoza (who we met in Last Breath) and his men are hired to retrieve damaging info for the US gov. who has also taken one of Mendoza's men for collateral. Staking out the criminal they see he has an innocent woman, Ava meeting buyers with the information for him. Ava is in over her head but she's going through with it to save her best friend Rose. Rafe feels an instant attraction for Ava but feels unworthy due to childhood and teenage trauma. He whisks her and the information off to safety which ends in a plane crash in the Amazon. The two fight to survive while the attraction between them heats up. It went downhill from there with too much talk the entire book about the size of his d!ck and it was disappointing that none of the other characters from the other books were mentioned or featured like the first three books.
