Excellent book! I stumbled on it at the used bookstore and thought it seemed fun. I love it and all my kids have either read it, or had it read to them.

I have always loved this book. So creative I can see the colors in my head. I don't understand why it's so little known.

This is such a great book. I first read it when I was in elementary school--such a while ago!--and I absolutely fell in love with the plot, the characters and everything about it. Julie Andrews is not only a great actress and singer, but an excellent author with a fun imagination. Double thumbs up for this book.

My nine year old daughter loved this book! I read it with her and loved the adventure story.
