Lately, I have been periodically getting a message from PBS on my main account page, thanking me for letting them know a book was received.  The thing is, I got that book in October and reported receiving it promptly.  I guess this is not really a problem but it's just confusing.  Any idea why this would be happening?

No, but I had the same thing happen for ages and ages...it kept thanking me for marking the same book received, one I'd received months ago. I tried clearing my cache, deleting cookies and everything but it didn't work. Then suddenly it just stopped. No idea what the deal was.

Sometimes it sends out emails about books you received fairly recently encouraging you to repost the book.  Could that be what those emails were?

It's not an e-mail Mary...you know when you login and sometimes there's a message saying "Welcome back to your account" or whatever? Well, instead of saying that on my main acc't page, it would say, "Thanks for letting us know you received _____________. Now we can give the other member their credit!" Or something like that. And it was every time I logged in, like it was "stuck" at that thank you. I marked plenty of other books received after that, and it would say "Thank you for letting us know...blah blah blah..." but then the next time I logged in, it would go back to that first book. For months! LOL

Yes, it's exactly as Cheryl has described.  Well, I guess it could be worse!

It might have been your computer cache doing that.  If the page was reloading from your computer's memory instead of refreshing.  If it happens again, try hitting the refresh button F5 to see if it updates.

Are you coming in via a bookmark?  It's possible it's because you bookmarked the site after marking the book received, and something about the address triggers that comment.  Try re-bookmarking after going into your account and not getting a message.
