I have been thinking about picking up one of her books. What is she like? Which one is her best?

She doesn't have a best. They are ALL great. I know you like Jen Lancaster so I KNOW you will love Laurie Notaro. Pick any one up. Pick them all up. You will enjoy them. :)

I have been hoarding her books as well. I got 2 by being on a short wish list but am on looooooooong wish lists for the rest. I would suggest just putting yourself on the wish lists for each  book. You'll have time to accrue some credits and/or decide what you would really like.

I like all her books, but especially loved Autobiography of a Fat Bride and her first fiction book There's a (Slight) Chance I Might be Going to Hell. I don't think you can go wrong with any of her books. I love Laurie!

I thought that "I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies)" was her best...although you've just got to read them all. ;-)

I think I'm the party of 1 who doesn't care for her or Jen Lancaster's books.  I received a free ebook by Laurie Natora and couldn't even finish it.  While I can see why others like that type of book, to me it just seems like chapter after chapter of  smart butt complaining and no "story".  While I can find one or two chapters of this funny, I can't do an entire book of it.

Just my two cents :)

It's not for everyone. That's OK, it just means if you happen on one of their books, you post it quicker into the system for one of us :-) and we will happily snap it up and hopefully return the favor to you sometime! I know I am sitting on 3 Laurie Notaro books right now as they make their way through my TBR shelves.
