Helpful Score: 1
This book actually has two stories: "A Lawman's Christmas" and "Daring Moves."

"A Lawman's Christmas:" Very sweet story with Clay McKettrick (Chloe and Jeb's son). It is very similar to the other McKettrick's stories especially with Dara Rose being stubborn and filled with pride. It isn't exactly sexy and doesn't have a ton of sex scenes but a nice, simple read.

"Daring Moves:" Absolutely horrible story. This one is more than a miss. It is a "Must Avoid." Jordan is a control freak who uses sex to manipulate Amanda. It wasn't sexy, just really creepy. In the beginning Amanda was really likeable, just not when she was with Jordan. With Jordan she was a complete pushover. By the end she was a full on idiot. In a way, they were bad enough to deserve each other.

One good story and one bad one.

This was not the best of the McKettrick books by Linda Lael Miller, but definitely worth reading and continuing the McKettrick series.
